LOCATION

5 mins drive south of Mangonui on State Highway 10, approximately 35 mins north of Kerikeri and 30 minutes from Kaitaia. Its strategic location with direct access to Doubtless Bay gives Butterfish Bay Estate residents easy access to both the east and west coast. Renowned for its fishing the area also provides numerous options for sailing, surfing, and other watersports and outdoor activities. How to get there:

From the South

head north from Kerikeri on State Highway 10, pass through Kaeo and continue towards Doubtless Bay/Mangonui for approximately 30km, when about 5 minutes south of Mangonui a curving bridge crosses the Oruaiti River which is the eastern boundary of Butterfish Bay Estate, the entrance is approximately 200 metres further on the right.

From the North

Follow State Highway 10 through Taipa and Coopers Beach, continue on the bypass past Mangonui, from where the property is visible, and the entrance is on the highway approximately 1.5 km south of Waterfront Drive, the southern access road to Mangonui.

From Mangonui

follow Waterfront Drive out of the village, turn left at State Highway 10, and travel approximately 1.5k south to the entrance on the left.
